Founded in 2003, MOR is comprised of internationally-renowned Orthopedic and Spine surgeons who pioneer the latest advances in technology and surgical techniques to improve the lives and activity levels of patients around the world. Through a strategic alignment with RUMC—a multi-award-winning Magnet status hospital for nursing in Chicago, Ill. and a Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD Quality Leadership Award Winner from Vizient —MOR provided care to 66,000 patients in 2018 and performed more than 16,000 surgical procedures across six Chicagoland locations.
MOR provides care to thousands of patients from around the United States and from around the globe. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush is also an international leader in Orthopedic research with approximately $3 million in total external research awards in 2018 and hundreds of annual publications in the most respected peer-review journals.
