Maria Kronk, PT, MPT, CMPT, SCS Area Manager for Accelerated Rehab Oak Park/River Forest, discusses Common Ski/Snowboard injuries-Injury Prevention and Training tips.
Ms. Kronk has been a practicing physical therapist for 11 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science in 2002 and her Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 2004 from Saint Louis University. Ms. Kronk graduated from the Minnesota Sports Medicine Physical Therapy Residency Program in 2005 and became an APTA Board Certified Specialist in Sports in 2006.
Ms. Kronk is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and is certified in Dry Needling Trigger Point Release. Maria’s favorite winter hobbies are skiing and snowboarding, and was a ski instructor at Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area in Bloomington, MN.
