Maria Kronk, Clinical Director and Physical Therapist IvyRehab Lisle, joins Dr. Brian Cole and Steve Kashul to discuss the safe way to begin a new running program, how to prevent overuse injuries, proper training shoe selection, and the importance of strength and cross-training for runners.
Maria received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University and has been specializing in out-patient orthopedic physical therapy for 15 years. Maria became a Sports Certified Specialist in 2006 and obtained her Manual Therapy Certification from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 2011. Maria enjoys treating patients with varying conditions and provides advanced manual therapy techniques for each of her patients.
