In this episode, we talk with Patrick Pauley, an athletic trainer specializing in fitness, injury prevention, and sports performance, about how to use a system approach at the time of injury to maximize recovery.
Patrick graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from North Park University. He received his masters degree from DePaul University where he worked with men’s and women’s soccer, golf, tennis, and track and field. Most recently he worked as the head athletic trainer for the Chicago Dogs professional baseball team. Patrick has a special interest in working with overhead athletes as well as prevention and rehabilitation programs for ACL injury that concentrate on neurocognitive factors.
