Steve and Dr. Cole discuss the hip/glute injury of Nick Foles and the collapsed lung, rib fractures of Drew Brees.

After some positive?reports came out suggesting that Foles would be OK?following his injury on Monday night, Nagy confirmed to reporters Tuesday that the quarterback is “day to day” with a hip and glute injury and even stated that it “isn’t as bad as we once thought.” Nagy also said that he doesn’t envision Foles landing on IR so t it sounds like he dodged a bullet after being thrown down on the right side of his body during the Bears’ final offensive possession of the game.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees suffered “multiple ribs fractures on both sides of his chest and a collapsed lung on the right side,”?according to ESPN’s Ed Werder. CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones confirmed Brees suffered broken ribs and will be sidelined more than one week. The injuries were suffered over a two-week period and could require the veteran to miss time recovering. However, the current timetable for Brees’ recovery from the injury is not certain at this time.
