Dr. Ross Wilkins currently serves as the Senior Medical Director for AlloSource, Chairman of AlloSource?s Medical Advisory Board and the Medical Director of JRF Ortho.
Recognized internationally as an expert on limb preservation, bone and soft tissue tumors and bone transplantation, Dr. Wilkins served as an Orthopedic Surgeon for Colorado Limb Consultants and was the Founder/Medical Director for The Institute for Limb Preservation. Currently he is Chairman and Founder of The Limb Preservation Foundation and Faculty Member at the Colorado State University Animal Cancer Center.
Dr. Wilkins has been honored with a number of distinguished awards including Denver Business Journal?s Lifetime Champion in Healthcare (2007), Top Doctors in Denver, Orthopedic Surgery (2007), America?s Best Doctors (2006-2017), George W. Dr. Wilkins is inspired by the gift of donation because donated tissue allows surgeons to replace missing structures, which is a real miracle. His research interests include the use of stem cells and donated tissue to improve the lives of recipient patients and the prevention and treatment of severe infections.
