Athletic Training Services
Select Medicals certified athletic trainers specialize in the prevention of and/or rehabilitation of injury in athletes of all ages. In addition, the organizations athletic trainers partner with companies and employers to help keep their workers on the job. Athletic trainers develop and implement preventative programs to help ensure that a workforce remains healthy and productive.
Customized Sports Partnerships
As a result of Select Medicals clinical expertise in sports medicine, the company also partners with high schools, colleges/universities and professional sports teams to provide prevention, clinical intervention and treatment protocols developed for athletes in specific sports.
Concussions are complex and need to be handled on an individual basis. Select Medicals experienced clinicians work closely with referring physicians, athletic trainers, coaches and others to protect the health and well-being of athletes as they go through a specially tailored return-to-play protocol.
Performing Arts Program
Like athletes, performing artists often challenge and push their bodies to levels that put them at significant risk for injury. Many performing artists reach extreme range of motion, as well as develop strong needs to maintain muscle strength and endurance. Our performing arts program helps to preserve these traits while infusing acute and chronic injury treatment, injury prevention protocols, and muscle balance and dance technique.
