Sponsored Content Guidelines

Sports Medicine Weekly publishes a limited number of sponsored articles for organizations in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and athletic performance. Every sponsored article is researched and written by our editorial team to the same evidence-based standard as our own content, and is clearly identified to readers as sponsored.

Audience

Approximately 12,000 monthly pageviews, an archive of nearly 3,000 articles, and a readership of active people, athletes, and the clinicians who care for them. Domain authority in the 40s.

Accepted topics

  • Sports medicine and orthopedics
  • Physical therapy and injury rehabilitation
  • Athletic training, fitness, and biomechanics
  • Sports nutrition and hydration
  • Evidence-supported sports supplements
  • Mental conditioning and athletic performance

We do not publish product reviews, promotional or advertorial copy, gambling, CBD, cryptocurrency, adult content, or unverified therapeutic claims. We do not accept submitted articles or link insertions into existing articles.

How it works

  1. Propose a topic through our contact form: your organization, the subject you would like covered, and up to two resource pages you would like referenced.
  2. We write it. Our editorial team researches and drafts an article of approximately 800–1,000 words, with peer-reviewed references, an FAQ section, and structure optimized for search and AI discovery.
  3. We publish it. Sponsored articles are not sent for sponsor review; Sports Medicine Weekly retains full editorial control. Typical turnaround is 7 business days from topic approval.

Disclosure

Sponsored articles are labeled as sponsored, and links to the sponsor’s website are tagged in accordance with search-engine guidelines for sponsored content. Transparent disclosure protects our readers and your brand.

Display sponsorship

A limited number of site-wide display placements are available by the month: above the footer, within longer articles, and on the homepage. Placements are labeled “Sponsored.” Details on request.

Rates

  • Sponsored article, written by our editorial team: $150
  • Display placement: from $150 per month (3-month minimum)

Sponsored article fees are invoiced via PayPal when the topic is approved and are payable before writing begins. Display placements are invoiced monthly in advance. Rates are subject to change.

Editorial independence
