?ssur is pleased to announce that two Paralympic athletes and world record holders have joined Team ?ssur.?Alan Oliveira?from Brazil and?Markus Rehm from Germany are both world record holders in their respective disciplines of 100m sprint and long jump.

Brazilian-born Alan Fonteles Cardoso Oliveira had both legs amputated below the knee at the age of 21 days following a severe infection.?He holds the world record in the 100m T43 category with a time of 10.57, won a gold medal in the 200m at the 2012 Paralympic Games, and won three gold medals and a silver at the 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships. He went on to set his 100m world record at the Paralympic Anniversary Games in London in July 2013.

Markus Rehm from Germany wowed the crowd at the 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships when he jumped an amazing 7,95m in the long jump event. Markus was amputated below the knee at the age of 14 following a wakeboarding accident and has gone on to become a prosthetist himself in addition to competing in track and field at an international level.
